Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023: In Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, Naxalites have carried out an incident of arson in a government garment factory built in Manjhiguda. In this incident, clothes worth lakhs of rupees kept in the factory were burnt to ashes. Although there was no loss of life in this incident, it is being said that Naxalites carried out this incident late on Sunday night while appealing to boycott the elections. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the incident. As soon as the police came to know about this incident in the morning, they immediately reached the spot along with the fire brigade team and after hours of hard work the fire was brought under control. Naxalites have also pasted leaflets on the spot and in this leaflet have warned of stopping work in the factory and have also called upon the villagers not to go to vote.

They are carrying out crimes before voting.

In Chhattisgarh assembly elections, voting is to be held in the first phase on 7th November in 12 assembly seats of Bastar division. Only a few hours are left for voting. In such a situation, Naxalites are continuously showing their activism and committing crimes. After killing BJP District Vice President Ratan Dubey last Saturday, Naxalites set fire to the government garment factory located in Majhiguda, a Naxal-affected area of ​​Bijapur district, on Sunday midnight. It is being told that Naxalites broke the lock of the factory and set fire to the lot of clothes kept inside. In this incident, clothes worth lakhs of rupees were completely burnt to ashes and apart from this, some machines were also set on fire by the Naxalites.

After committing the crime, the Naxalites easily ran away. When the nearby people came to know about this in the early morning, the police team reached the spot and tried to control the fire with the help of fire brigade and after a lot of effort, the fire was brought under control. Police officials said that there was not a single person present in the factory when the Naxalites committed this incident. In such a situation, there was no loss of life, but the clothes were burnt to ashes. At present the police are saying that they have registered a case against unknown Naxalites and will investigate.

Police is investigating from all aspects

In the initial investigation, the police are suspecting that the incident was carried out by anti-social elements, but the Naxalites have also pasted election boycott leaflets in the factory itself. Naxalites have written in this leaflet that the factory will remain closed on 6th and 7th November. Don’t give elections, don’t vote, comrade party zindabad, Bastar area commander. However, the police is also investigating the leaflet that the Naxalites have pasted in the factory. Police are speculating that people from mischievous elements in the name of Naxalites can also carry out such incidents. In such a situation, this entire incident is being investigated from all aspects. Here, due to arson incident in the garment factory, entire lots of clothes were burnt to ashes, causing a loss of lakhs of rupees.
