IND vs BAN: Indian bowlers wreaked havoc on the second day, bundled out Bangladesh for 149, Team India has a strong hold in Chennai Test

‘It’s part of the game’
Jadeja said after the day’s play, “I got out today but this is part of the game. Now we have to score big in the second innings. I am very happy with my bowling. This is a good opportunity to take the 300th wicket on this ground.” After bundling out Bangladesh’s first innings for 149 runs, India has strengthened its grip on the match by scoring 81 runs for three wickets in the second innings and taking its total lead to 308 runs. India scored 376 runs in its first innings.

‘We need to score around 120-150 from here’
When asked about the team’s plan for the third day, Jadeja said, “First we have to bat very well, we have to score around 120-150 from here. After this, we will try to get them out as soon as possible while bowling.” Jadeja, who has been associated with the Chennai Super Kings franchise in the Indian Premier League for a long time, is well aware of this ground. This means that the Indian team wants to give Bangladesh a target of around 450.

‘There is help for fast bowlers’
He said, ‘The pitch here is still good for batting but it has help for fast bowlers. Some balls are swinging. If fast bowlers use the seam well, then it will cause trouble to the batsmen.’ Jadeja and Ashwin took the team out of a difficult situation by making a partnership of 199 runs. The Indian team was struggling after losing six wickets for 144 runs. When asked about the partnership with local player Ashwin, Jadeja said, ‘First of all, Ashwin does not need any advice. I was just telling him that we will avoid playing the wrong shot. The wicket was very good at that time and both of us were batting very well.’ The Indian team got a lead of 227 runs in the first innings. Team India’s total lead has become 308.
