New Delhi. Sachin Tendulkar, one of the great batsmen of the cricket world, has many records in his name. This stalwart, who scored a lot of runs in ODI cricket, did the miracle of scoring a double century while playing against South Africa in the year 2010. If any cricket fan is asked who scored the first double century in ODI, then most of the people take the name of Sachin. The amazing thing is that 13 years before the Master Blaster, a female cricketer had accomplished this feat.
In 2010, Sachin Tendulkar scored a historic ODI double century against South Africa in Gwalior. Master Blaster became the first male batsman to do so. However, he was not the first cricketer to score a double century in ODI because before him a woman had achieved this feat. Belinda Clark, playing for Australia, had achieved this feat in the year 1997, i.e. even before Sachin Tendulkar’s record.
