4 dreaded batsmen of the World Cup, scored century only with fours and sixes, Rohit Sharma’s name is not in the list

New Delhi. So far, there has been a lot of fours and sixes in the ICC ODI World Cup being played in India. Team India has shown an amazing game so far. India is the only team in the tournament which has won all the matches. Team India has to face Australia in the final in which there is a player who has scored a century in an innings of the tournament with just fours and sixes.

Everyone has seen the explosive game of Team India and everyone enjoyed the explosive batting of captain Rohit Sharma. His name is included in the list of the most explosive openers of this World Cup, but his name is not included among those dreaded batsmen who have scored more than 100 runs with just fours and sixes. The amazing thing is that out of the four batsmen who have scored centuries in an innings only with big shots, three will play in the final.

Australia’s Glenn Maxwell’s double century innings against Afghanistan in the ICC ODI World Cup will always be counted among the best innings in World Cup history. During his unbeaten inning of 201 runs, he hit 21 fours and 10 sixes. This dreaded batsman had scored 144 runs only with fours and sixes. At second place is the name of Mitchell Marsh who rained against Bangladesh. Scored 122 runs only with big shots, hitting 17 fours and 9 sixes.

The name of Australia’s David Warner comes at number three. Against Pakistan, this stalwart had scored 110 runs on the basis of only big shots, hitting 14 fours and 9 sixes. South Africa’s Quinton de Kock had scored 102 runs with the help of only fours and sixes during his inning of 174 runs against Bangladesh in this World Cup.
