Thailand’s Prime Minister Shretha Thavisin himself reached the spot. He said, all the 6 people were from Vietnam. Some had dual US citizenship. It seems that they had died 24 hours ago. Post-mortem is being done, the truth will come out in that. Metropolitan Police Chief Lieutenant General Thiti Sengsawang said that rooms were booked in the name of 7 people to stay in the hotel, but only five checked in and one person is currently missing. One of the victims found in the room does not match the hotel records.

Police said that these people had ordered food in the suite, but did not even touch it. All of them were to check out from the hotel on Monday. They went from the seventh floor of the hotel to the fifth floor. But when the employees working there went for cleaning, the bodies of all 6 people were found in the living room and bedroom of the suite. According to the police, looking at the condition of the room, it does not seem that there was any fight between these people. There is no evidence of robbery or looting. There are no marks of serious injury on anyone’s body. One person has a minor injury on his body and that too is probably due to falling.
Did the victims die of poison
The police chief said that open containers of tea, energy drinks and honey were found in the bathroom. It seems that two of the victims tried to reach the door of the hotel suite, which was locked from inside, but did not manage to reach there in time. The victims’ belongings will now be searched as part of the investigation. Officials are investigating whether the victims died of poisoning.
