The Indian Prime Minister may be visiting Caribbean countries after a long time, but our relations in cricket are very deep. Went on tour to Guyana, Barbados and Guyana. All these three countries have been playing for West Indies in cricket. In the 1980-90s, when West Indies ruled the entire cricket world, its captain was Clive Lloyd of Guyana. Under the captaincy of Clive Lloyd, West Indies defeated India 5-0 in the 1983 tour. He did this clean sweep 4 months after the World Cup 1983.
