New Delhi. There has been theft behind the house of star all-rounder Ben Stokes. Masked miscreants attacked Stokes’ house when he was playing a Test series on Pakistan tour. He expressed his pain and said that thieves stole many of his valuable things. This incident was carried out on October 17 at Stokes’ house. When the theft took place at the right-handed batsman’s house, his wife Claire and two children Layton and Libby were present at his house. Stokes has appealed for the return of his irreplaceable items. This all-rounder has shared photos of stolen valuables on social media which include three chains, a locket, OBE medal and wife’s expensive hand bag etc.
It was fortunate that the thieves did not cause any physical harm to Ben Stokes’s wife and children. Stokes says that this incident of theft has had a bad effect on his emotional and mental state. 33 year old Ben Stokes has recently returned home after playing the Test series on Pakistan tour. Stokes’ house is in Castle Eden area in Durham where the thieves committed the theft. Ben Stokes has thanked the police who helped the family in his absence.

Ben Stokes wrote on social media X, ‘This incident happened when I was not at home. At that time I had a wife and two small children. This has hurt me deeply. Thank God that the miscreants did not physically harm my wife and children. This incident has affected our emotional and mental state. I am uploading photos of some items here. England team will tour New Zealand under the captaincy of Stokes
On the Pakistan tour, England won the first Test match by an innings margin but lost the subsequent two Tests. Pakistan defeated them 2-1 in the 3-match test series. England now has to undertake an important tour of New Zealand in November where a three-match Test series will be played.
