This was Sai Sudarshan’s 25th innings in IPL. He completed 1000 runs of IPL in this innings. With this, Sai Sudarshan has become the Indian to score 1000 runs in the shortest innings. Before him, this record was in the names of Sachin Tendulkar and Rituraj Gaikwad, who achieved this feat in the 31st innings. The overall record is in the name of Shaun Marsh. Australia’s Shaun Marsh had completed his one thousand runs in the 21st innings. Lendl Simmons 23 and Matthew Hayden have touched the figure of one thousand runs in the 25th innings.
